Trauma-Informed Wales takes a Public Health Approach to developing a trauma-informed Wales: we draw upon a range of academic and practical resources to inform our work and showcase impact.
We seek to provide evidence-based support and guidance to anyone who needs advice on how to implement trauma-informed approaches in their organisation, community, sector or system.
We also commit to evaluate, reflect and review as part of our implementation model; to promote continuous learning and development of knowledge and wisdom and to inform ‘what works’ and scale up practical interventions.

This paper explores the role of language within trauma-informed work.
