Trauma-Informed Practice Skills and Strategies for Children and Young People (TIPSS-CYP): Summary Report for Phase One Pilot Implementation (2024-2025)

Trauma-Informed Practice Skills and Strategies (TIPSS) provides practical skills to support people and organisations working at trauma-skilled and trauma-enhanced practice levels of the Trauma-Informed Wales Framework. The training is designed to build confidence and capability among frontline staff supporting individuals who have experienced, or are currently experiencing, trauma.

This report provides an initial overview of Trauma-Informed Practice Skills and Strategies for Children and Young People (TIPSS-CYP), implemented across seven pilot sites to support practitioners working with children and young people. While not a full evaluation, the report highlights promising early progress and offers insight to shape a future implementation and governance model.
