Knowledge and Skills into Practice

The Implementation Steering Group (ISG) met in-person on Tuesday 20th May, hosted by Oasis, an organisation based in Cardiff that provides an essential hub for sanctuary seekers, and provide a range of holistic, free services for sanctuary seekers which operate on a drop-in basis. Oasis are committed to creating an environment of inclusivity and compassion, where people feel safe and welcomed.
Our guest speakers were Tomos Owen and Meddia Kendi from Oasis who shared their experiences of working with people who have experienced adversity and trauma. Meddia is the only trainer in the UK delivering the Mind-Spring programme for wellbeing at Oasis. To find out more click here.
The ISG is committed to offering a spotlight session to our working group co-chairs at our meetings. The Knowledge and Skills into Practice working group presented for a second time today.
