Communication and Engagement
Lauren Hopkins and Oliver Townsend

The Implementation Steering Group met today, including a session with Dr Rachel Hughes to introduce the group to innovative and creative ways of engaging our communities.

Rachel focused on the Lle Llais project in Ynys Môn, which is part of the approach of the Public Map Platform, a two-year research initiative led by Cambridge University to make places in the UK better for the people who live there. Lle Lais uses the concept of multi-sensory mapping to bring together communities and local authorities to engage, share stories and experiences with the intention of co-creating their future, together.

For more information on the Public Map Project and Lle Llais visit: Public Map Platform.

The ISG is committed to offering a spotlight session to our working group co-chairs at these meetings. The Communication and Engagement working group presented today.

The co-chairs of this working group are Lauren Hopkins and Oliver Townsend. They discussed the development of the group, project plans and the commitment to prioritise language and accessibility.
